A barber shop and a convenience store have been damaged in two early-morning ram-raids in Northamptonshire.

Police said a bronze Nissan Navara pickup truck was used to steal an ATM from the Co-op in Brixworth, near Northampton, at about 01:10 GMT today.

Another cash machine was stolen from The Godbarbers in Farmstead Road, Corby, after it was hit by a blue Suzuki Vitara at about 04:30 GMT.

Northamptonshire Police said it did not think the raids were linked.
