Man dies two weeks after he was knocked down
BBCA man in his 70s has died just over two weeks after he was knocked down.
Lancashire Police said the man suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a BMW 320d in Lyons Lane, Chorley at 12:20 GMT on 29 March.
A police spokesman said the man died in hospital on Easter Sunday (5 April).
He added the driver of the BMW has not been arrested and is being treated as a witness.
Sgt Laura Kendall, of the force's serious collision investigation nit, said: "As a result of this collision a man has lost his life and my thoughts are very much with his loved ones at this distressing time."
