Jury in Natalie McNally trial shown knife found at scene
PacemakerThe jury in the Natalie McNally murder trial has been shown a small black handled knife found at the scene beside the body of the pregnant 32-year-old.
Belfast Crown Court was shown a number of items used in evidence including a piece of paper which contained information on diabetes and a silver metal dog bowl, all found close to Natalie McNally's body.
Det Sgt Stewart held up the evidence to show the court and then it was passed to the jury of six men and six women to examine.
Stephen McCullagh, 36, from Woodland Gardens in Lisburn, County Antrim, has denied her murder.
The jury was also shown some photographs from inside and outside the defendant's home.
The prosecution read out Whatapp messages exchanged between Ms McNally and the defendant, Stephen McCullagh in the days leading up to the 32-year-old's death.
In one message Mr McCullagh says "Right I'm off to stream the night away". Ms McNally replies "Good luck, might have a sneak peak later".
Ms McNally was 15 weeks pregnant with a baby boy when she died at her home in Lurgan, County Armagh, in December 2022.
