Trial date set for drowning murder accused
Thames Valley PoliceA trial date has been set for a man accused of murdering a woman who was found drowned.
Nelio Gouveia, 44, appeared at Oxford Crown Court earlier after the discovery of Jennifer Symonds' body in Henley-on-Thames on Friday morning.
Judge Ian Pringle said there would be a plea hearing on 29 May and has scheduled a seven-day trial to start on 1 September.
Gouveia, of Phyllis Court Drive in Henley-on-Thames, was remanded in custody following the hearing.
