Chip shop fryer blaze extinguished by crews

Five fire crews were called to a fish and chip shop after a blaze took hold in a fryer.

Crews from Suffolk and Norfolk were called to the shop on Green Lane near RAF Honington on Thursday evening.

The fire had spread to the roof space and crews used hose reel jets, dry powder and foam extinguishers to tackle the blaze.

No-one was injured.
