An 85-year-old woman has appeared in court over a driving incident that killed a man in Grantham.

Ann Fletcher, of Hallfield Crescent, Honington denied causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving at Lincoln Magistrates' Court earlier.

It comes after an incident on Broad Street on 14 August last year which led to the death of Mark Jackson.

Ms Fletcher has been granted unconditional bail and the case has been sent to Lincoln Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 6 November.
