A police officer has appeared in court to deny sexually assaulting three women in a nightclub.

PC Martin Brough is alleged to have assaulted the women at a venue in York during the early hours of 1 December 2024, when he was off-duty.

The 43-year-old, who works for West Yorkshire Police's Operational Support unit, has been suspended pending the outcome of the case.

Following a hearing at York Crown Court, he was bailed ahead of a trial set for 9 September.
