Man arrested after woman found with knife injuries

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was found with serious knife injuries in York.

North Yorkshire Police said the woman was found at an address on Lindley Road at 17:50 GMT on Saturday.

The force said she was taken to hospital with "serious injuries believed to have been caused by a knife".

Police have urged anyone with information to get in contact.
