Schools are shut due to safety concerns following snowfall.

The Bridge Easton School near Norwich is closed for "health and safety reasons due to the snow", according to an announcement on the county council website.

Red Oak Primary School in Lowestoft, Suffolk, is also shut due to "severe weather conditions".

Morland Church of England Primary School in Ipswich is closed because of a faulty boiler.

Overnight snow settled in many parts of Norfolk and Suffolk amid a Met Office yellow weather warning.

The warning for snow and ice is in place until 11:00 GMT on Tuesday.
