'Exciting' or 'Frustrating'? - East coast locals and tourists react to record snow
A major snowstorm has slammed parts of the East Coast. On Monday, about 40 million people were under a blizzard warning in states like New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Long Island, and more than 600,00 homes and businesses were without power. Massachusetts is the hardest hit state with nearly 300,000 without power, followed by New Jersey, where about 125,000 are without power.
This is the first time in nine years that New York City has been under a blizzard warning.
More than 5,600 flights into and out of the US have been cancelled.
