A man has admitted causing the death of a pensioner through dangerous driving.

The victim, a man in his 70s, died shortly after the crash on Highters Heath Lane in Kings Heath, Birmingham, at about 19:30 GMT on 4 November.

Tyrone Clarke, 50, from Evesham, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and driving a vehicle while uninsured at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday, although he denied a count of theft of a motor vehicle.

No orders were made on his not guilty plea and all his pleas will be dealt with when Clarke is sentenced on 5 June, the court said.
