Over 30 burglaries linked as CCTV appeal issued
West Mercia PoliceMore than 30 burglaries across Herefordshire and Worcestershire are believed to be linked, West Mercia Police has said.
The force has released an image of a group of men officers would like to speak to in connection with the spate of break-ins, which took place between November and January across the two counties.
The image was captured on CCTV following a burglary in Abberley, Worcestershire, earlier this month.
Det Insp Dave Knight said: "We want to offer assurance, to victims and our communities, that a thorough investigation is taking place into the series of burglaries and we are not slowing down in our efforts to apprehend the offenders."
Police patrols were recently increased in Evesham after two homes were targeted in one night.
On Tuesday night, between 18:00 and 20:00 GMT, a haul of jewellery, bags and cash was stolen from one of the properties, while the offenders were disturbed and fled from the second house empty handed.
