Police said they had been called to Foundry Lane just after midday

A person has been seriously injured following a crash, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers had been called to a serious single-vehicle crash in Foundry Lane, Hayle, Cornwall, just after 12:00 GMT on Wednesday.

It said one person was in a serious condition.

Road closures have been put in place and the incident was ongoing, the force added.
