Soldier sentenced for sharing intimate photos
GoogleA serving soldier has been sentenced for sharing intimate photographs of a woman.
Charley Marshall, 20, who is serving with the Grenadier Guards, shared the images on 16 July 2025, after harassing the victim over a three-month period between 15 March and 26 June.
He admitted a charge of sharing photographs or film of a person in an intimate state intending to cause alarm, distress or humiliation, and another of harassment without violence, during a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates' Court in January.
Marshall, from the Sleaford area of Lincolnshire, was given a jail term of 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, at the same court last week.
He was also given a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim, along with 150 hours of community service.
