Tribute to 'loveable brother' killed in car park
Family handoutThe family of a man who died after being found seriously injured in a supermarket car park have paid tribute to a "loveable" brother with the "biggest heart".
Daniel Lewis, 40, was found off Soho Road in Birmingham at about 12:45 GMT on 2 February, following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. He died in hospital two days later.
A 34-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been bailed, while a second 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assault has also been released under while inquiries continue.
West Midlands Police has said it was investigating a disorder on the Soho Road and Holyhead Road area prior to Lewis being found.
In a statement issued via police, his sister Natasha described him as being "known for being mischievous with a loveable cheekiness".
She added: "He had the biggest heart and he was the best big brother I could have asked for.
"He was my protector, my forever friend. He was an amazing son and uncle and adored his family, he would do anything for us.
"We are all struggling to come to terms with what has happened, it's so cruel. I feel like he has been robbed from us".
