Driver died after collision on M25, police confirm
National HighwaysA driver died after a collision on the M25, police have confirmed.
Essex Police said it was called to a crash between junction 27, for the M11, and junction 28, for Brentwood at about 11:05 GMT on Saturday.
The force said a car had crashed into the barrier on the hard shoulder, closing that section of the M25 clockwise for about two hours.
A spokesperson said: "Sadly, the driver died at the scene. A report will be prepared for the coroner."
