Moped rider dies in three-vehicle crash

Police have appealed for witnesses after a moped rider died in a multi-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the B1102 Swaffham Road, Lode, Cambridge at about 17:20 GMT on Sunday.

Cambridgeshire Police said the incident involved a white Kia Venga, a red Toyota Corolla and a black Honda moped.

The rider, a 20-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Kia, an 18-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed.
