Paying tribute to the mother of four, her family said she was "passionate about her children".

"Tania was undoubtedly beautiful, she was honest but mostly was always giving to others, the list about her bubbly personality truly goes on," a family tribute said.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death was due to blood loss from a wound to the neck.

Williams appeared at court in person and spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and enter a plea.

He was remanded into custody and a trial date has been set for 28 July.
