Danny Fowler, 37, died after being stabbed in Market Rasen on Thursday, police say

A man who died following a suspected stabbing in Market Rasen has been named by police as Danny Fowler, from Newtoft.

A post-mortem examination had found that the 37-year-old died from injuries sustained from multiple stab wounds during the incident on Thursday, Lincolnshire Police confirmed.

He was found after officers were called to Union Street at about 17:10 GMT and died later. His family was being supported by specialist officers, a force spokesperson said.

A 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman had been arrested on Friday on suspicion of manslaughter, police said. Two men, aged 29 and 55, and a woman, aged 31, were previously arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police have appealed for witnesses, or anyone with information about what happened, to get in touch.
