Delays on motorway due to demo near junction
BBCMotorists travelling on and around the M5 near Bristol are being warned of delays due to a protest at a port.
There is congestion around junction 19 of the motorway due to a demonstration at Portbury Docks in North Somerset.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, there are delays on the A369 Martcombe Road while queues on the M5 southbound stretching back to the M49 interchange.
Avon and Somerset Police is at the scene to clear the backlog of traffic and National Highways told motorists to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes.
The Bristol Port Company, which operates the dock, has been approached for comment.
