A1 closed following serious collision, police say
BBCThe A1 in Lincolnshire has been closed following a serious collision, police have said.
Highways England said the road was closed between the A52 (Barrowby) and B6326 (Balderton) following the incident, which was reported at 02:00 GMT.
A spokesperson said emergency services including police were in attendance and delays were expected.
The road was likely to remain closed until midday while investigation work takes place. The BBC has contacted Lincolnshire Police for more information.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and follow diversion routes.
