Woman denies causing death by dangerous driving
GoogleA woman has denied causing death by dangerous driving following a crash at a petrol station on the A1.
Fiona Phippen, 44, of Church Close, Great Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, also denied causing serious injury by dangerous driving when she appeared at Lincoln Crown Court earlier.
Urwah Tanveer, 20, who was standing next to a Mercedes at the time, died at Foston Services, near Grantham, Lincolnshire, on 29 June last year.
Samina Idris, 83, a passenger in the Mercedes, was seriously injured in the incident.
Lincolnshire Police previously reported that the incident involved a Nissan as well as the Mercedes.
Ms Phippen, who was granted bail, will next appear at Lincoln Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on 1 December, ahead of a trial scheduled to start on 20 April next year.
