Lane closed on A1(M) following collision

One lane of the A1(M) was closed following a collision.

The road's outside lane was closed between junction nine at Letchworth and junction eight at Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire.

Drivers faced delays of up to 45 minutes in the area and four miles of congestion.

Police were at the scene that has now been cleared and the road has been reopened, National Highways said.
