Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward in the case of a man whose body was found in a burnt-out car a year ago.

Bedfordshire Police was called to a field close to the B659 near Langford on 6 February 2025, where they found the body of Jesbir Singh Khela, 47, from Letchworth, Hertfordshire, in the driver's seat of a destroyed Skoda Octavia.

Seven arrests were subsequently made, but nobody has been charged over the incident.

Det Ch Insp Matt Inwood said: "A year on from the tragic death of Jessy, his family and friends still have many unanswered questions."

Crimestoppers is offering the reward for information that helps lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

The charity said people could contact them anonymously, and it would not share their details with the police.

Inwood said: "We know that someone out there will have information that could help us find out what happened in the lead-up to his death.

"Please do come forward and tell us what you know."
