Five more men charged after triple stabbing
Google MapsFive men have been charged in an investigation into the stabbing of three men when disorder broke out in Wolverhampton.
Police were called to disorder near Dunstall Peace Park on Staveley Road in Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton.
Three men suffered injuries during the violence, at about 16:45 GMT on 27 October last year. West Midlands Police said the men had not been seriously hurt.
Days after the bout of violence, a 31-year-old man from Telford was charged with assault and now five further men have been charged and next month they are due to appear before magistrates in Dudley.
Daban Ghafour, 43 from Wolverhampton, has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assault. He is due in court on 10 March.
Ari Kamal, 48 from Wolverhampton, has been charged with affray and is due to attend the same court on the same date.
Rawa Said, 19 from Ilford, has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon and Paywand Rafhat, 20 from Walsall, has been charged with affray and assault. They are both due to appear in court on 12 March.
Marwan Mohamad, 19, of no fixed address, has also been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon and is scheduled to attend court on 17 March.
