Detectives think this man could help with their enquiries

Detectives have released a video of a man who they believe may have information about a sexual assault at a tram stop.

Nottinghamshire Police are investigating reports that a woman was assaulted at Ruddington Lane Tram Stop, in West Bridgford at about 06.45 GMT on 29 December 2025.

The force said officers have been analysing CCTV footage in a bid to find out what happened.

They describe the man of interest as an Asian man in his mid-twenties with short brown hair and is estimated to be about 5ft 9in (175cm).

PC Saffia McDonald, of Nottinghamshire Police, said she believed the man may be able to assist in their investigation.

"This was understandably an upsetting incident for the female victim and we are determined to get to the bottom of what happened," she said.

"We appreciate that the video is not of the best quality, but believe that if someone knows this man they will be able to identify him."
