Watch as mischievous bear cub turns house into playground

When a tiny sun bear cub named Mary was rescued from an illegal wildlife trader in the mountains of Laos, she was in urgent need of care. With no time to spare, Matt Hunt, CEO of Free the Bears, jumped on an overnight bus and made Mary the first sun bear rescued in Laos in over 15 years.

With the sanctuary's cub nursery still under construction, Matt brought Mary home, expecting to care for her for just a few weeks. But the mischievous cub quickly made herself at home. What was meant to be a short stay turned into 50 days of round-the-clock feeding, cuddles, and chaos, as Mary grew stronger and more curious by the day.
