How to break the link between palm oil and deforestation

Palm oil production has grown 19-fold over the past 40 years, and is strongly linked to tropical deforestation, especially in South-east Asia.

Replacing palm oil with alternatives may not be better for the environment, because palm oil actually has higher yields. But there are still things we can do to reduce the impact of palm oil.
