Festive tractor run a first for village

Dozens of tractors, along with other vehicles, took part in the first illuminated Christmas road run for a Cambridgeshire village.

The festive fleet of 38 fairy-lit tractors weaved its way through the village of Pidley, near Huntingdon, on Sunday.

The event raised £2,000, with the proceeds going to the Farming Community Network (FCN).

Lee Wilderspin, who organised the tractor run, said: "Me and my wife decided to, this year, do a tractor run for the FCN network, for farming mental health.

"This inheritance tax thing, we thought this would help people who are struggling. I am hoping we will go again next year."
