Watch: Beaver family fells trees in new home

A family of beavers has been caught on camera hard at work felling trees at a nature reserve.

In February, the dam-building mammals were introduced to Nene Wetlands nature reserve, part of Rushden Lakes, in Northamptonshire.

Over the summer the family was expanded when two babies, known as kits, were born at the site.

In night camera footage they have been seen felling trees, stripping bark and taking away branches.
