Watch: Mina Smallman on BBC Panorama's investigation into Met Police
Mina Smallman told the BBC she was pleased that Panorama investigated the Metropolitan Police.
"We cannot turn a blind eye to this, we have to really address it", Smallman said, adding that "when their guard is down we get to see what they're really like".
Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, were stabbed to death while celebrating Ms Henry's birthday in a park in Wembley, north-west London, in June 2020.
Two officers were jailed for sharing photos of the women's bodies.
A BBC Panorama undercover investigation showed evidence of misogyny and racism that challenges the Met's promise to have tackled what it calls "toxic behaviours" after the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving police officer.
