North Somerset CouncilA beach has been temporarily closed after a landslide.
Ladye Bay beach in Clevedon was closed by North Somerset Council on Wednesday for health and safety reasons.
Anyone visiting the town should keep away from cliff edges and the base of cliffs due to continued erosion, the council said.
The authority said this type of erosion is normal for the coast and it hopes to re-open the beach once the affected area has been cordoned off, it added.
Signs warning people of the danger of falling rocks would also be put up, it added.
