Thousands gather for first Oxford Pride since the pandemic

For the first time since 2019 members of the LGBTIQ+ community gathered in the city of spires

Thousands of people have gathered for the Oxford Pride 2022 festival.

Meeting for the first time since 2019 partygoers paraded through the streets in celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer life in Oxfordshire.

Various events were arranged by Oxford Pride to promote awareness of LGBT issues and lifestyles.

The day culminated with live bands performing into the evening.
