FORWARDS 2024: Loyle Carner and LCD Soundsystem to headline

Loyle Carner and LCD Soundsystem have been unveiled as a Bristol festival's headliners this summer.

FORWARDS, which takes places on the Clifton Downs over two days, will also see Four Tet and Jessie Ware perform.

The team behind the festival, Team Love, run Bristol-based Love Saves The Day and, as of 2022, Glastonbury Festival's Silver Hayes stage.

The full line-up for the festival, held on 31 August and 1 September, is yet to be announced.

Organisers said the "progressive" event will also hold "future thinking" talks and social initiatives.

Among the other confirmed acts are Maribou State, Romy and Hak Baker.

Thousands of people have attended the festival since it launched three years ago, and seen acts such as Little Simz, Fred Again.. and Arlo Parks perform.

Tom Paine, co-founder of Team Love, said: "FORWARDS is back for its third year, and we could not be prouder.

"Each year it grows, evolves and delivers even more for the city of Bristol and beyond."

Pre-sale tickets are live at 10:00 GMT on 5 March, and general sale tickets open from 10:00 on 6 March.
