The M1 was closed southbound after a car overturned.

National Highways said on X earlier that all four lanes of that carriageway were closed in Bedfordshire between junction 14 for Milton Keynes and junction 13 for Bedford.

Bedfordshire police and fire services and the East of England Ambulance Service all attended.

Diversions were put in place and the road reopened at about 08:15 BST.
