Part of the M1 in Northamptonshire is closed after an overturned van led to an oil spill.

The northbound carriageway was fully shut between junction 16 for Northampton and junction 18 for the Rugby in Warwickshire.

The crash caused a "significant oil spillage", National Highways said.

One lane has reopened to allow traffic to pass but the road remains closed to any new vehicles.
