Fresh nuggets for boy after dad steals his food
A football mascot went to the home of a young boy and gave him some chicken nuggets after a clip of his dad stealing a nugget was seen by thousands.
Four-year-old Rory was left in tears after his dad stole his last chicken nugget at a home game of their beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers and a clip showing his despair was caught on the big screen.
Dad Tom revealed people had stopped him the street to call him a chicken nugget thief.
Two weeks on the pair returned to watch another home game against AFC Bournemouth, and were surprised when all eyes in the stadium, fell on them, as club mascot Wolfie presented Rory with a whole new bag of nuggets.
FamilyTom, his father, told BBC Radio WM: "I thought I'd gotten away with it until I saw the video on the night.
"Random people at work, walking down the road will say, 'You're the chicken nugget thief, aren't you?"
"What Wolves have done is brilliant, they sorted us seats and gave Rory a fresh load of chicken nuggets, they gave him strip memberships and they also gave my daughter some bits and pieces which was really good of them.
"The mascot Wilfred coming to the house was just brilliant."
