Applications to apply for an accessible taxi licence close on 20 February

Taxi drivers with accessible vehicles are being sought across Guernsey, according to traffic and highway services.

Driver & Vehicle Licensing (DVL) wants to hear from those who may be interested in applying for an accessible taxi licence.

Officials said the successful applicant would need to own a vehicle which meets DVL's minimum requirements for wheelchair transportation. Accessible taxis are fitted with shallow wheelchair ramps, alongside other specialist features, to cater for those with disabilities

Applications close on 20 February.
