A woman has died after a crash between two cars.

The blue Mini Cooper and white Fiat Ducato both collided on the A505 between Duxford and Royston just before 15:00 BST on Saturday.

The driver of the Mini, a woman in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the Fiat remained at Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries.

Cambridgeshire Police appealed for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
