The A27 in West Sussex is closed eastbound between Southwick and Portslade after a lorry caught fire.

National Highways said the vehicle was carrying petrol power tools and had a ruptured fuel tank - both of which "significantly" fed the fire.

Sussex Police and West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service are at the scene, and a diversion has been put in place.

Drivers have been told to expect delays.
