Man charged in connection with cannabis seizure in Portadown

A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis with an estimated street value of about £120,000 in Portadown, County Armagh.

The drugs were found following a police search of a property in Broomhill around 01:00 BST on Saturday.

The man has been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug, and dishonestly using electricity.

He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday.
