Elderly man dies after single-vehicle crash in Armagh

A man in his 90s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Armagh.

The incident in the Hamiltonsbawn Road area was reported to police shortly after 19:30 GMT on Thursday.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the driver of the car, a man in his 90s, was taken to hospital, but died from his injuries.

The Hamiltonsbawn Road was closed following the collision, but has since reopened.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and have appealed for information.
