Man who left teenager injured in York jailed
North Yorkshire PoliceA man who admitted seriously assaulting a 16-year-old boy in York has been jailed for more than four years.
Officers were called to Baker Street, in Clifton, at about 19:30 BST on 5 June, after reports of a stabbing, with the teenager taken to hospital.
At York Crown Court on Monday, Philip Noble, 45, of Field View, York, was set to face trial but pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm without intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
Noble, who denied a since dropped charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, was jailed for a total of four years and four months.
