Fatal motorbike crash sparks police witness appeal

Witnesses have been urged to come forward after a man in his 60s was killed in a motorbike crash.

It happened in Dunmow Road, near Stebbing Green, shortly after 15:40 BST on Sunday and did not involve any other vehicles, Essex Police said.

Members of the public tried to save the man, who was travelling towards Braintree, but he died at the scene.

"Our investigation is ongoing and we're asking for any dashcam or CCTV footage that will help us with our inquiries," police said.
