Four rescued from cars after multi-vehicle crash

The four vehicle crash happened at about 23:00 GMT on Tuesday

Police are investigating after four people had to be rescued from their cars following a four vehicle collision.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said its crews were called to the crash on the A3075 between Rejerrah and Newquay at about 23:00 GMT on Tuesday.

A road closure remains in place while Devon and Cornwall Police carry out investigation works.

Cornwall Air Ambulance and paramedics were also in attendance.

The BBC has contacted police, Cornwall Air Ambulance and South Western Ambulance Service for further details.

The fire service used crash rescue equipment to release the casualties.

The incident happened near the former Rosecliston Holiday Park.
