Woman killed in crash touched 'countless lives'
SuppliedA mum killed in a car crash was caring and compassionate with a smile that could light up any room, colleagues have said.
Jennifer Anne Brown, who was in her 40s and also a grandmother, was in a car with three other people when it was in a crash with a lorry on the A55 near Conwy.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were airlifted to hospitals in Stoke and Aintree with serious injuries, while a third person was taken by ambulance to Aintree.
Jennifer, from Newborough, on Anglesey, worked at the island's Glan Rhos Nursing Home for more than 20 years where she was nicknamed "Queen".
A statement from the home said she was not just a staff member but family.
"She first walked through the door as a shy 17-year-old and, over time, blossomed into the caring and compassionate person we all came to know and love," it said.
"Jenny touched countless lives throughout her career, always greeting everyone with a warm smile that could light up any room.

"She never arrived at work without her make-up, especially her signature lipstick and favourite perfume.
"Jenny was deeply proud of her family, a devoted mother and grandmother. The news of her passing in such tragic circumstances has saddened us all, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family members also in the accident."
Her colleagues has been affected "profoundly".
"We have already received messages and phone calls offering condolences to Jenny's family and everyone at the home," the statement added.
North Wales Police said they were called to the scene at about noon on Thursday to junction 17 westbound in Conwy Morfa, under the A547 overpass.
The force said after the crash the driver of the heavy good vehicle was helping it with its inquiries.
