Woman kicked in head during attempted robbery
GooglePolice are appealing for the passer-by who foiled a robbery which left one woman needing hospital treatment to contact them.
The incident happened in Esher at about 17:00 GMT on Friday, when the victim was approached by four men while walking along More Lane towards the High Street.
The gang stole her bag and phone, before pushing her to the floor and kicking her in the head, said Surrey Police.
They made off in a black car when another woman intervened and managed to retrieve the items they had taken.
The woman assaulted was taken to hospital with suspected concussion.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said it was "very keen" to speak to the person who came to her aid.
The force is also seeking CCTV or dashcam footage that might have captured what happened.
