Hunt for e-bike rider accused of abusing van driver
GoogleAn e-bike rider allegedly threatened and racially abused a van driver, police have said.
The behaviour was prompted by the driver telling the cyclist he was riding too close to his van, and with no lights, according to Gloucestershire Police.
Officers are now looking for the cyclist following the alleged incident on Painswick Road roundabout, Gloucester, at about 16:00 GMT on 23 December.
He is described as being in his late teens or 20s, black with afro hair and wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms and a black scarf.
The van was stationary at the roundabout at the time. The suspect yelled threats and racial abuse at the driver before riding off in the direction of Eastern Avenue, police said.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or events leading up to it is asked to contact police.
