The care home was rated good in all areas

A care home rated as good overall in the wake of concerns flagged to a watchdog has said the relationship between staff and residents creates a "warm and supportive" place.

Wrottesley Park House in Wolverhampton was inspected after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) received "information of concern", but a report in November rated the Tettenhall home as good in all areas.

Inspectors said improvements were needed on ensuring consent had been considered for certain aspects of the operation, including the use of CCTV, but found that people received safe care based on individual needs.

Home manager Santhosh George said the "hardworking and committed" team was proud of the result.

He said they were "truly passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care".

The home on Wergs Road, run by Abbey Healthcare, provides support to adults living with dementia, those with physical and learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorder.

Inspectors said staff knew people well and they were safely recruited, and they had the skills and training to support people.
