Two women have been jailed for dealing crack cocaine and heroin in Doncaster.

Susan Hemsworth, 54, of Carr House Road, was sentenced to five years for possession of crack cocaine, cocaine, and heroin with intent to supply.

Sian Wallace, 36, of Chequer Road, was jailed for two years and nine months for possessing crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, burglary and theft.

Det Sgt Mark Jones said he hoped the sentenced sent a message that drug dealers in Doncaster would be "identified, targeted and brought before the courts".

"What may seem like an innocent drug deal has much wider implications and the money generated from it often funds organised crime gangs," he added.

"These gangs engage in reckless violence that puts innocent people in danger, and their actions threaten the safety of the communities we serve to protect."

Both women were sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on 13 March, having been arrested in March 2025 after police searched a property in the Hexthorpe area of the city and found bags containing the drugs.

22-year-old Ratislav Pecha, of Apley Road, was also arrested at the property and later admitted possessing crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

He was handed a two-year prison sentence suspended for two years and required to complete 200 hours of unpaid work.
